For Photoshoot Session

By booking a photoshoot session with Kara Duff Photography you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before booking.

Booking: All sessions must be booked in advance via our website, email, or phone. A session is not confirmed until a non-refundable deposit is paid.
Deposit: A deposit is required to reserve your session. The remaining balance is due on the day of the photoshoot.
Payment Methods: We accept payments via PayPal and Direct Transfer.

Session Length: Sessions are scheduled for the time specified at booking. We ask that you arrive on time for your session to ensure the full duration is used effectively.
Late Arrival: If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to accommodate the photographer’s schedule. The full session fee is still due, regardless of the time spent.
Extensions: If you wish to extend your session, this must be requested before the end of your scheduled time, and additional charges may apply based on availability.

Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours before your scheduled session. The deposit is non-refundable but can be applied to a future session if rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.
No-Show Policy: If you do not show up for your scheduled session without prior notice, you will forfeit your deposit, and rescheduling will be at the discretion of the photographer.
Weather and Emergencies: In the event of inclement weather (for outdoor shoots) or other emergencies, we will work with you to reschedule the session at no additional cost.

Arriving Prepared: Clients should arrive on time with the outfits, props, or other items they wish to use during the session. Please discuss any special requests with the photographer prior to the session.
Outfit Changes: Clients should be mindful of time when planning multiple outfits. Changes should be kept within the allotted session time.
Conduct: The photographer reserves the right to discontinue the session if the client’s behavior is disruptive, inappropriate, or violates any terms of the agreement. In such cases, the session fee is non-refundable.

Editing and Post-Production: All images are professionally edited and retouched at the photographer’s discretion. Clients will receive the final edited images within [insert time frame, e.g., 2-3 weeks] after the session.
Image Selection: For full photoshoots, clients will typically receive 30-50 images to choose from. For mini sessions, clients will receive 10-15 proofs to select from.
Image Delivery: Final high-resolution images will be delivered via an online gallery link. The gallery will be available for 30 days for downloading and sharing.
Usage Rights: Clients are granted full personal usage rights to the images, including printing, sharing on social media, and creating physical products. Commercial use or resale of images is prohibited without prior written consent from Kara Duff Photography.
The use of filters on all images shared on all social media is strictly prohibited.

Photographer’s Rights: All images remain the property of [Your Business Name]. The photographer reserves the right to use the images for portfolio, marketing, website, and social media promotion unless a specific agreement is made otherwise.
Client Consent: By booking, clients consent to having their images used for promotional purposes. If you prefer your images not to be used in promotional materials, please notify us in writing prior to your session.

Personal Property: Kara Duff Photography is not responsible for any personal belongings lost, damaged, or stolen during the photoshoot.
Safety: The photographer will take all necessary precautions to ensure a safe and comfortable experience. Clients are responsible for their own safety and well-being during the photoshoot.

Model Release: By booking a session, clients agree to allow Kara Duff Photography to use their likeness in any media, including promotional materials, portfolios, and social media posts. If you do not want your images to be used in this way, please inform us in writing prior to your session.
Amendments: These terms and conditions may be updated or amended from time to time, and clients will be notified of any significant changes.
